Designed for common international statement layouts.
Support is based on tested layout families—not a promise that every statement from a named institution will convert perfectly.
Layouts documented during the beta
Each linked guide explains the exact layout characteristics and controls tested. Banks frequently change templates, and business, personal, student, credit-card and regional statements from the same institution may use different structures.
Input currently accepted
- PDF bank or payment-account statements up to 20 MB
- Text-based PDFs with selectable text
- Scanned or image-only PDFs suitable for browser OCR
- Single-page and multi-page statements
- Statements with repeated headers and multiline descriptions
Layouts the parser understands
- Separate debit, credit and balance columns
- Single signed-amount columns
- Section-based credits and debits
- Fees, currency, amount and total columns
- Opening, previous or start balance and closing, ending or new balance
- Daily balance summaries and bank-specific category totals when present
Currencies
The converter detects common statement symbols, codes and bank-specific wording, including USD, EUR, GBP, INR, ZAR and RON patterns. Always confirm the detected currency before export.
Not currently guaranteed
Password-protected files, damaged PDFs, handwritten statements, very low-resolution scans, unusual encodings and newly changed bank layouts may fail or produce review warnings. The tool does not bypass passwords.
