How this statement is structured
The tested statement uses dated transaction activity plus statement-level balance controls. The converter searches beyond the transaction table for balance wording instead of assuming that the first extracted row is the opening balance.
Statement controls recognized
- Beginning or opening balance
- Deposits and credits
- Withdrawals and debits
- Ending or closing balance
- Final dated ledger balance
What the spreadsheet can contain
- Transaction date and description
- Debit, credit and balance columns
- Opening and closing balance controls
- Statement totals when reported
Validation performed before confidence
- Opening balance plus credits minus debits is compared with closing balance
- The balance on the final statement date is compared with the reported ending balance
- Explicit statement figures take priority over inferred first or last row values
Opening balance + credits − debits = ending balance
What you must review
- Statements from different Wells Fargo account types may use other layouts
- Repeated page headers must not become descriptions
- A readable table is not proof that every transaction was detected
Convert the statement
- Download the original PDF directly from your bank or provider.
- Open the converter and select the PDF. Statement contents are processed locally in your browser.
- Confirm the detected currency, transaction count, balances and warnings.
