Terms of Use

The rules that apply when you use BankStatementConverter.biz and its automated conversion tools.

Effective and last updated: 23 August 2026

1. Acceptance and operator

By accessing or using BankStatementConverter.biz, you agree to these Terms. The website is operated by Manish Shah, an individual proprietor. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Acceptance record

Before statement processing begins, you must actively accept the current Terms and acknowledgements. A minimal consent receipt records the applicable versions, fingerprints, acceptance method and server timestamp for 24 months. It excludes statement contents, filenames, financial information and raw IP addresses. See the Privacy Policy for details.

2. Beta service

The service is provided as a public-beta conversion utility. Features, supported formats and availability may change. We may impose reasonable limits, interrupt the service for maintenance or discontinue features.

3. Permitted use and your authority

You may use the service for lawful personal or business purposes. You must own the statement or have valid authority to process it, and you remain responsible for complying with confidentiality, privacy, employment, contractual, accounting, tax and recordkeeping obligations that apply to you.

4. Prohibited use

  • Do not process documents you are not authorised to access.
  • Do not use the service for fraud, identity theft, deception or unlawful surveillance.
  • Do not introduce malware, attack, overload, scrape or bypass security or usage limits.
  • Do not misrepresent an exported file as an original bank record.
  • Do not infringe another person’s privacy, intellectual property or legal rights.

5. Your documents and outputs

You retain your rights in documents and converted outputs. The current service processes statement contents locally in your browser and does not require a licence to store or reuse those contents. You are responsible for saving, protecting and verifying your output.

6. Accuracy and review obligation

PDF extraction and OCR can misread, omit, duplicate, reorder or misclassify information. A successful reconciliation is a useful check, not proof that every field is correct. You must compare the export against the original statement. The Accuracy Disclaimer forms part of these Terms.

7. No professional advice or bank affiliation

The service does not provide financial, accounting, tax, audit, legal or investment advice. BankStatementConverter.biz is independent and is not sponsored, endorsed by or affiliated with any bank, payment provider or financial institution.

8. Intellectual property

The website design, software, branding and original content are owned by or licensed to the operator. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

9. Third-party services and advertising

The site may use or link to third-party hosting, security, consent, analytics and advertising services. Those services have their own terms. Advertisements are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for third-party products, websites or claims.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, universally compatible, error-free or suitable for a particular accounting, tax, audit, legal or financial purpose. Nothing excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, penalties, filing errors, business interruption or decisions based on an inaccurate or incomplete conversion. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to mandatory rights available to users under applicable law. Any dispute should first be raised at theonlineentrepreneurship@gmail.com so that an informal resolution can be attempted.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service develops. Continued use after an updated version is published constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. Questions may be sent to theonlineentrepreneurship@gmail.com.
