How this statement is structured
The tested layout uses a DATE · DESCRIPTION · AMOUNT · BALANCE ledger. Some dated descriptions are completed by a separate amount-and-balance line, so the converter carries the pending date and description forward rather than dropping the transaction.
Statement controls recognized
- Beginning Balance
- Deposits and Additions
- ATM & Debit Card Withdrawals
- Fees
- Ending Balance
What the spreadsheet can contain
- Dated transactions and multiline descriptions
- Separate debit and credit values
- Running balances when printed
- Reported fees and summary controls
Validation performed before confidence
- Deposits are compared with Deposits and Additions
- Non-fee debits are compared with ATM & Debit Card Withdrawals
- Fees remain separate but are included in total debits
- The final ledger balance and summary equation are compared with Ending Balance
Opening balance + credits − debits = ending balance
What you must review
- Account numbers, card suffixes and Web IDs can resemble amounts but are not transactions
- A bank can change its PDF template without notice
- A statement summary may itself contain conflicting figures; these are reported rather than silently overwritten
Convert the statement
- Download the original PDF directly from your bank or provider.
- Open the converter and select the PDF. Statement contents are processed locally in your browser.
- Confirm the detected currency, transaction count, balances and warnings.
- Compare every row with the source before downloading Excel or CSV.
